
GIFA Governance & Support Structure
The Executive Committee sits at the core of GIFA's governance and operational oversight. This central body is supported and advised by a network of seven dedicated subcommittees, each focused on a particular area of industry relevance and strategic development.
Subcommittees

The Executive Committee delegates and receives feedback through the following subcommittees:
Technical & Innovation – Focuses on emerging technologies, regulatory developments, and innovation relevant to the funds industry.
Education – Develops and supports industry training, qualifications, and outreach to promote career development.
Marketing – Manages public relations, communications, and the promotion of Guernsey as a funds jurisdiction.
Administration & Compliance – Represents and addresses the operational and regulatory interests of fund administrators and compliance professionals.
Managers – Focuses on the needs and perspectives of investment and fund managers operating in the jurisdiction.
NEDs (Non-Executive Directors) – Acts as a forum for NEDs to share best practices, engage with governance matters, and contribute to industry voice.
Custodians – Provides insight and guidance on issues relating to custody and safekeeping of assets within fund structures.
Each subcommittee is governed by its own Terms of Reference and feeds into the Executive Committee, allowing for well-informed decision-making that reflects the diverse interests of the Guernsey funds and investment sector.
